Principal's Bio

Greetings!  My name is Esmeralda Martinez.  I am a long time resident of Odem and graduated from Odem High School in 1980.  I began my teaching career here eighteen years ago.   I am a graduate of Texas A & M University - Corpus Christi.  I have a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Bilingual/ESL emphasis.  My Master's Degree is in Curriculum & Instruction.  I am married and have two daughters.  Amber is a 2008 Odem graduate and Alyssa is an eighth grader at Odem Jr. High.  I am very excited to be serving as Odem Elementary's Principal.  It gives me great pride and pleasure to work with our elementary students and their families.  I look forward to a successful school year!
